About The Helpers

The Helpers International

The Helpers is a movement fueled by the generosity and action of people like you.

The Helpers International, Inc. offers hope and strength for those caught in the crossfires of natural disasters and geopolitical conflicts. As a non-profit organization, we offer immediate and impactful  humanitarian relief — providing food, water, shelter, and medical aid to communities that have been pushed to the brink. Our work is a reflection of what can be achieved when compassion meets action.

To be one of The Helpers is to be part of a community of people who care about the world. We recognize the disparities in lived experiences around the globe and the injustices and suffering that are endured, often by the world’s most vulnerable populations. We also recognize that there is a role each of us can play to help make our world a better place for those in desperate need.

The Helpers International is a portal through which our members, volunteers, Ambassadors, and donors can channel their compassion, energy, ideas, and gifts towards making a positive, tangible difference in the lives of others.

One of our core values is collaboration, as we believe in the power of partnerships and collective action to amplify our impact. Our Ambassador Program plays a vital role in spreading awareness about our mission. Our Ambassadors use their passion, dedication, and advocacy to help amplify our message and reach even more people in need. By developing our Student Ambassador Program we are nurturing the next generation of civic and charity-minded citizens.

Our Mission

Conflicts and natural disasters leave behind trails of destruction, despair, and displacement. From the ongoing conflict zone in Yemen to the recent earthquake in Morocco and the devastating hurricanes hitting the Caribbean, the scale and variety of crises demand immediate and effective responses. These events not only claim lives but also destroy homes, infrastructure, and the very fabric of communities, leaving millions without access to food, clean water, shelter, and medical care. The psychological impact on affected populations, especially children, can be long-lasting, turning what is already a dire situation into a prolonged struggle for survival and normalcy.

The Helpers’ mission is to mitigate the suffering of those affected. Understanding that the needs of disaster-hit and conflict-affected areas are immense and multifaceted, we adopt a holistic approach to humanitarian aid:

Rapid Assessment and Response

Our first step is to assess the needs of those affected. Working closely with our network of front-line organizations on the ground, we identify the most urgent priorities, whether it be food, clean water, shelter, or medical aid, and mobilize our resources accordingly.

Direct Delivery

Through our collaboration with frontline organizations such as World Central Kitchen, UNICEF, and Doctors Without Borders, we ensure that aid reaches those who need it most. These operating teams have proven expertise in operating in challenging environments, making it possible to bring relief efficiently and effectively.
